NICK Stocker is hoping that both Tenbury United and Tenbury Town will figure in the top division of next season’s new-look Herefordshire County League.
The county competition is being revamped this summer, though the exact format is still to be announced.
United co-boss Stocker said: “We are looking forward to the new league and I hope there will be some new teams in there and that it will be bigger than this season’s Premier Division.
“Nine or ten sides in a league isn’t enough. We want at least 15 for a decent season with a mixture of sides in it.
“If I’m honest, it would be nice to see Tenbury Town in there as well. A lot of the lads get on quite well together so a couple of games against them each year would add some spice to the fixture list.
“I think the whole of the town would enjoy two big derbies between the clubs.”
