Ludlow HC head to London this weekend for the England Hockey Vase final which will be played at Lee Valley Hockey Centre, part of Stratford’s Olympic Park.
They will face Surrey side Haslemere in Sunday’s final which starts at 1.30pm. It is one of more than 20 matches taking place over the bank holiday with everyone from u18s through to over 50s battling for national honours.
Ludlow reached the final after an excellent 3-2 win at Mid Sussex in a scintillating semi-final clash.
It looks like being a hectic few weeks for the club with the AGM pencilled in for May 9 and then the start of the Summer League which will run until August.
And the club is also organising the all-day Wenlock Olympian Games Hockey Tournaments which take place on July 9.
