A RECRUITMENT drive by Brimfield and Little Hereford Bowling Club has equalled the success of a similar event four years ago.
Around 10 prospective members accepted a 'VIP' invitation to the club's green opening, with members on hand to offer advice.
“We have handed out seven membership forms ,which is brilliant,” said club secretary, Jennie Cole.
“This is in addition to the four new members who have already signed up and there’s also lots if interest in our regular coaching sessions.
All things considered it equals our best recruitment day four years ago.”
The club’s season is now in full swing, with a series of friendlies, weekly stroller afternoons and competitions planned.
