WOOFFERTON player-secretary Dave Thomas admits discipline may be a problem at the club after another player was sent off last Saturday.

New signing Rob Smith received his marching orders for two bookings in the game against Ledbury Town Reserves that Woofferton lost 3-2.

The Blues have now had three players sent off in their last two games after Nathan Scott and Dean Harding were dismissed against Holme Lacy.

The latest sending off comes at the same time as Danny Hicks received a five year ban for pushing over a referee.

“It is a discipline thing as it’s another sending off which follows two we had last week,” said Thomas.

Woofferton are now just one point ahead of Ledbury Town Reserves in Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League Division 1, but Ledbury have five games in hand.

Harding opened the scoring for Woofferton before Ledbury equalised.

Dan Gower restored the Blues’ advantage but were pegged back when Ledbury scored a penalty following Smith’s dismissal before going on to win the game.
