BRIMFIELD FC have unveiled their new sponsor.

Plumbing and heating suppliers ASE from Ludlow have agreed to have their company name emblazoned on the Haynall Lane side's shirts.

The sponsorship was secured by Brimfield goalkeeper Jamie Vickery.

"Full credit to Jamie for clinching the kit deal with Adam Pearce from ASE who himself lives in the Brimfield area," said Brimfield manager Duncan Morris.

"As a club everyone is very grateful for this sponsorship from ASE.

"The new kit is an amazing boost to the team."

Brimfield are back in action this Saturday when they host Wellington Colts in Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League Division One.

Morris' team are fifth in the table with 12 points from 10 games and are one place ahead of their opponents.

Brimfield go into the game on the back of a 3-2 defeat against rivals Woofferton.

Brimfield had levelled the game after trailing 2-0 thanks to goals from James Byatt and Luke Pugh.

But Woofferton had the final say when Jack Pound grabbed the decisive winner.

"I thought it was a great performance from my men," said Morris.

"The game could have gone either way and I felt the better side lost ."

Woofferton have this weekend off and are next in action next Saturday when they host Ewyas Harold Reserves.
