LUDLOW Hockey Club lost their first game this season when they went down 4-1 to Streetly in Warwick Printing West Midlands League Premier Division.

Ludlow took the lead with a well worked goal from Andrew Richards, but that resulted in Streetly getting stronger.

There was better news for Ludlow 2nd though as they hammered Wednesbury 5-2.

Wednesday twice took the lead, but Ludlow managed to edge the win with goals from Tom Aston (two), Jake Watts and Josh Rowson.

Ludlow 3rd drew 1-1 against Stafford in a Fathom friendly match.

Stafford included a seven-year-old boy in the ranks and took the lead before George Borns equalised for Ludlow.

Vicky Jones scored twice for Tenbury Ladies in their 6-0 emphatic win against Redditch in Worcestershire League Division One.

Abi Davies, Cat Mumford, Naomi Burgoyne and Rachel Croxton-Broome grabbed the other goals.
