LUDLOW Men's Hockey Club secured their first win of the season by beating Redditch 6-4 in the Warwick Printing West Midlands Premier League.

Kevin Williams, Tyler Davis and Tom Aston all started for Ludlow, with Davis celebrating his first start by opening the scoring.

Redditch stormed back to lead 3-1, but Ludlow equalised before half-time and sealed the win after the break.

Stuart Richards and James Pratt scored two goals apiece, with Vijay Chumber also getting on the scoresheet.

Jack Pritchard and Charlie Lyth helped Ludlow 3rd to draw 3-3 against Aldridge and Walsall after they were 3-1 down.

The home side opened up a 2-0 lead before Robbie Disney reduced the arrears for Ludlow.

Aldridge and Walsall then scored again before Pritchard and Lyth levelled the match.

Tenbury Ladies lost 5-2 to Worcester 2nd in Worcestershire League Division One.

Abi Davis and Vicky Jones scored Tenbury's goals.
