STUART Richards and Graham Hutchinson scored in the last 10 minutes to ensure Ludlow shared the points against Finchfield in their first ever game in the Warwick Printing West Midlands League.

Finchfield scored a goal from well-worked penalty corners early in each half, but Ludlow were always in the game and ended up disappointed they did not win.

"Ludlow's forwards created plenty of chances throughout the match and repeatedly hit the target only to find Finchfield's goalkeeper in outstanding form," said Ludlow coach Martin Watts.

Ludlow 2nd went down 2-0 to Droitwich, while Ludlow 3rd lost 6-4 against Old Wulfrunians.

Ludlow 3rd did lead 3-2 thanks to goals from Robbie Dinsley (two) and Jack Prescott, but their opponents grew stronger.

Prescott's second goal was therefore a mere consolation.

Vicky Jones, Catherine Mumford and Abi Davies all scored twice as Tenbury Ladies thrashed Badsey and Evesham 6-2 in Worcestershire League Division One.

Tenbury had lost their first two games of the season, but they dominated throughout the game against the newly merged Badsey and Evesham.
