ROSS Moorecroft continued his good form to take the July London Pride Medal at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club.

Moorcecroft netted a 65 to take the title and see his handicap cut to 11.

He said that it was nip and tuck between himself and his close friend Stuart Humphries, but a collapse saw Stuart out of the picture.

"Stuart and myself both had good scores and that that kept us both playing well," said Moorcecroft.

"I managed to pay the last three holes compared to Stuart's collapse.

"I am getting close to single figures now for my handicap which is my ultimate goal."

John Gaskell, who has been in great form thanks to lessons from head professional Phil Moore, netted 67 to take second place, despite having a six on the par three 8th hole.

Third place went to Richard Wright, who followed up his Seve Foundation Stableford triumph, to finish third on 68.
