ORLETON ace Scott Moran has roared to the first 22-point haul of his MSA British Hill Climb career.

The reigning champion and current leader broke the Doune hill record twice at the weekend.

Moran is in charge of the competition at the end of the first third of the season.

He will be hoping to strengthen his chances at Harewood on July 6.

WIth Scott's father, Roger Moran, assisting but not competing at Doune, Scott Moran had a memorable day.

Jos Goodyear lowered the record before Moran snatched it away.

The duo and Trevor Willis went inside the old record later for more bonus points.
