LUDLOW Cycling Club pair James Griffith and Jack Stanton-Warren have tasted double success in the annual running of the two-up time trail with Hereford Wheelers.
Griffith and Stanton-Warren achieved a good time of 21min14sec in last Tuesday’s 10-mile event at Ludlow.
And Griffith and Stanton-Warren also won Thursday’s event over 10 miles at Leominster.
The duo beat another Ludlow pair of Steve Minton and Gary Walters, in Tuesday’s event with a time of 22:18.
Wheelers pair Alex Haines and Stuart Austin took third spot in 23:03.
In Thursday’s race, Griffith and Stanton-Warren achieved the top spot in 21:57.
Minton and Walters finished second in 22:58, while Haines and Austin were third in 23:43.
Sally Field and Liz Davies-Ward won the women’s race in 27:45 from another Hereford Wheelers pair of Abby Hughes and Sasha Evans in 33:34.
The next race in the Hereford Evening 10 series takes place tonight (Thursday) at Yazor, starting at 6.30pm
