ADAM Winnel had to day to remember in clinching Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club’s Roy Houghton Memorial Medal.
Winnel shot a one under par gross 69 to post a remarkable nett 59 to take home his first trophy since joining the club 18 months ago.
Cleobury spokesman Dave Pain said: “It was one of those rounds of golf when everything clicks into place and you have the round of your life.”
Winnel added: “This may never happen again it was my best ever round of golf.”
Roger Evans topped Division Two after carding a nett 63.
