BROTHERS Dave and Tom Pain picked up the Family Trophy at a charity golf tournament in Cleobury Mortimer.

More than 200 people took part in the event at the town's golf club that raised money for the Adam Millichip Foundation.

The charity was set up in memory of Adam from Tenbury who was killed in a tragic accident seven years ago aged just 27.

It allocates money to disabled people to get them into sport.

The Pains became the first pair to win the Family Trophy multiple times having won it in 2010.

Meanwhile, John Gallagher secured Division One in the May Stableford on 34 points on count-back.

Alan Walker shot the best score of the day with 36 points to win Division Two.

"‘I drove the ball really well and made some important putts," said Walker.

"Previously, in near perfect conditions, I didn't play anywhere near my handicap and in these conditions I did."
