THREE runners from Croft Ambrey Running Club competed in the London Marathon last month.
Gemma Mallett, from Leominster, clocked a personal best time of 3 hours 25 minutes to finish 310th in the 18-39 age group, while Glyn Williams, from Presteigne, was 568th in the 40-45 age category with a time of 3 hours 13 minutes.
Martin Williams, from Docklow, clocked a time of 3 hours 26 minutes to finish 3,937th in the 45-50 age group.
Martin, who was taking part in his first marathon, raised £844 for Hope Support Services - a Ross-on-Wye based charity that supports young people affected by a relative being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
Gemma, meanwhile, raised £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
