TENBURY Town’s promotion hopes have been shattered after they crashed 6-0 at Fownhope Reserves in their biggest league game of the season.
Club spokesman Carl Lambert admitted he was lost for words after a depleted Town were thrashed in a game which they could not afford to lose.
Fownhope Reserves will now claim the second promotion spot in Herefordshire League Division Two at the expense of Darren Worthington’s Town.
