TENBURY Town boss Darren Worthington will be dreaming of back-to-back promotions after a stunning 2-0 home win over table-topping Fownhope Reserves.

Goals from Chris Patton and Mike Powell gave Town an excellent victory at Palmer’s Meadow in Herefordshire League Division Two.

Town are second, four points behind Fownhope but with two games in hand.

Dale Withers headed a late winner for Tenbury United who pipped hosts Bromyard FC 4-3 in a thrilling Jock Handley Cup semi-final which went to extra-time.

United could meet Tenbury Town who are in the other semi-final and awaiting the winners of Ewyas Harold Reserves and Wellington Colts.

Withers missed a penalty for United, who trailed 1-0 at the interval before hitting back tto take a 2-1 lead through Mike Foster and Nick Stocker.

Bromyard forced extra-time before Ryan Morris put United 3-2 ahead. But Bromyard levelled from the spot and a shoot-out was looming until Withers pounced.
