LEINTWARDINE Colts’ manager Chris Shurmer is urging players to join his side.

Shurmer says his one aim this season is to keep the club alive.

But Colts have not been able to field a side for their last two fixtures.

He is hoping Colts can fulfil this Saturday’s match at Dore Valley.

Toby Siveter has been a leading player for Colts, who are second bottom in Herefordshire League Division Three.

Norbury host Clee Hill United this Sunday in the Bishops Castle Cup.

Mark Griffiths netted from the penalty spot as Norbury crashed 5-1 at home to leaders Loppington in the Shrewsbury and District Sunday League Division One.

Norbury scored a late consolation from the spot after man-of-the-match John Hudson had been fouled in the box.

The visitors took a 2-0 lead into half-time but were nearly pegged back before the interval when Griffith’s shot fell to the feet of Mark Hudson, who shot over from close range.

Loppington were on top after the break and added a further two goals. They killed off the game with a fifth goal late in the match.
