AFC Ludlow did their chances of finishing at the head of the West Midlands League Division Two by boosting their goal difference in a 10-0 win over Wolverhampton Sporting Community Reserves.
And it’s 10 wins out of 11 for Herefordshire League Division One leaders Tenbury United after a 3-1 win at Hinton Reserves.
Ludlow bounced back from their hammering at Crewe & Nantwich the previous week by snaring a 34-34 draw at Wolverhampton in Midlands Two West (North).
Tenbury gave their hope of beating the drop in Midland Four West North a major boost by hammering basement club St Leonards 54-18.
Bishops Castle also enjoyed their afternoon, winning 20-10 at Bromyard, but it was not such a good afternoon for Cleobury Mortimer whose 32-10 defeat at Staffordshire sees the Staffordshire club ease into second place.
