JOCKEY Tom Scudamore finished third in a thrilling Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival this afternoon.
Scudamore, the son of legendary Herefordshire jockey Peter Scudamore, was aboard The Giant Bolster and in a good position leading into the final fence.
Lord Windermere, a 20-1 shot, came from the back of the field and eventually pipped On His Own in a spectacular finish to the showpiece race.
After a stewards’ inquiry, the original result remains unchanged.
