Paul Bowers wins men's roll-up at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club.
IN-FORM Paul Bowers has triumphed in the men’s roll-up stableford at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club.
Bowers carded 39 points to snatch first place and record his sixth victory in a matter of months.
Bowers is in the best form on his life and he is looking to kick on during the 2014 season.
Jez Duffiled also showed no sign of winter fatigue as he cruised to 38 points and sealed second place in the competition.
Bowers said: “It has been a great winter for me golf-wise. The summer season is fast approaching and I hope to continue with the way in which I am playing.”
Once again, Cleobury members were out in force after the greenkeepers had worked miracles to get the course prepared for a busy weekend of action.
