TENBURY produced their best result of the season when they travelled to Harborne and beat Midlands Four West (North) leaders Harborne 27-22.
But Cleobury Mortimer, who were beaten 20-0 at Bishops Castle 20, and Clee Hill, who lost 12-11 at home to Cannock, were not able to profit after both suffering defeats.
In Midlands Two West (North), Ludlow also enjoyed a successful day with a 36-21 home win over Old Saltleians.
The region’s two leading football sides also gained wins which, at first glance, resemble rugby scores.
AFC Ludlow hammered Malvern Rangers 13-1 while Tenbury United enjoyed an 8-1 success at Wellington Colts.
