THERE will be no love lost when Chadd Woodfield and James Key represent Ludlow Amateur Boxing Club in a Valentine’s extravaganza tomorrow (Friday).
The pair have been matched up against strong opponents for the open show which takes place at Fusion nightclub in Hereford.
The show is being organised by Ledbury Boxing Club and Ludlow’s vice-chairman Colin Woodfield is excited about his fighters’ prospects.
“Chadd and James are being lined up against some very good opponents – Chadd is fighting a lad who is coming all the way from Blackburn,” said Woodfield.
Another talented young boxer from the Ludlow club, Terry Dean Smith, is fighting in the West Midlands Schoolboy Championships in Donington, Telford, on Saturday.
And Chadd Woodfield, Key and Chris Preece are scheduled to fight on a show in Shrewsbury on January 28.
Tickets are selling well for Ludlow’s dinner show at Ludlow Racecourse on Friday, March 14
Chadd Woodfield, Arnold Edmonds, Ashley Moule, Terry Dean Smith, Charlie Barnfield and Key are among those being matched up.
