AARON Hodge scored eight goals as Ludlow Town Colts demolished struggling Denso 14-3 at the Showtime Stadium.
Kiah Roberts also bagged a hat-trick for Ludlow - but assistant-manager Jess James was far from happy.
Assistant-manager James said: "It's very frustrating at the moment because some of our players are not turning up.
"At the start of the season, we had 19 players turning up for matches but we are now only getting eight or nine.
"We train every Tuesday night and we always get the same eight or nine players.
"We have got the quality in our side to be second in this league, but we don't apply it. I think we are under achieving this season."
Last Saturday’s Mercian League Division Two match which was switched from Denso's ground to the AGP surface at Ludlow.
Simon Bradley, Jamie Broome and Josh Partridge were also on target for Ludlow in a one-sided affair.
Colts’ manager Chris Waldron said: “It was a good win but Denso are having a terrible season and are very poor.
“We were depleted so I had to play in goal and my assistant-manager Jess James had to play in defence.
“None of our players really got out of first gear and, fortunately for us, the opposition were poor.”
Ludlow Town Colts are scheduled to be at home this Saturday – against Highley Miners Welfare in the league.
Ludlow sailed into an early 5-0 lead against Denso and Waldron admitted it had been hard to keep his players focussed.
“The lads started to try to do it all themselves and they bombed forward and it left us exposed at the back,” said Waldron.
“Denso caught us on the break and their three goals were because of this."
