TENBURY wrestler Jake Gittens will be grappling as Killian Jacobs in an action-packed show in Hereford next month.

Jake, who learned his moves at a wrestling school in Perry Barr in Birmingham, will be featuring in a ‘Money in the bank ladder match’ on Saturday, February 8.

Jim E Villain, Johnny Thunder, Leo Addison will also involved in the ladder match at Hereford’s Richmond Place Club.

The winner of the ladder bout will receives a contract for a title shot at the British Championship.

Jake, a former Tenbury High School pupil, has previously wrestled as The Rockstar’ Cupid Valentino and Jakob Castle.

"The Hereford shows have been getting more and more popular with the last two shows having been sold out," said Jake.

"Last time we we're in Hereford we had wrestling royalty Georgia Smith, the daughter of the legendary British Bulldog, join us and say a few words. And, once again, wrestling fans in Hereford are in for a real treat.

"Our main event bout of the evening will feature arguably one of the UK's top wrestlers, Doug Williams."

Williams is a former TNA Impact Wrestling X Division, Tag Team and television champion.

Williams is scheduled to face Damian Dunne in the event, being organised by Ironfist Wrestling.

Jake said: "Doug rubbed shoulders with wrestling legends such like Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Sting and Jeff Hardy. He is probably best know for his match with the WWE Hall of Famer 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair at Wembley Arena."

Jake added: “I love American wrestling. “I grew up watching WWE and WWF and my favourite wrestler was the British Bulldog. He was the guy I wanted to be. When I was 16 I went to a wrestling school in Perry Barr, and I spent five years there. I made my wrestling debut in early 2006 in Birmingham and I have wrestled ever since.”

The doors will open at 6.30pm, with the wrestling action scheduled to start at7.30pm.
