Hinton Reserves 1 Brimfield 1
MANAGER Duncan Morris rued missed chances after in-form Dean Harding rescued a point for Brimfield FC in Herefordshire League Division One.
Morris' men struck the woodwork three times but fought back after Hinton had taken the wind in the first half.
Morris said: "The strong winds made for a difficult away fixture but we should have converted our chances and had to settle for a draw.
"This is the first time I have played against Hinton and I have now had a good look at them. We can look forward to the return game in the New Year."
Curtis Howell twice rattled the woodwork for Brimfield, who took advantage of the wind in the second half.
Harding eventually snatched an equaliser for the visitors with 15 minutes remaining.
Brimfield FC are in cup action this Saturday, travelling to lower-graded Leintwardine Colts in the HFA Burghill Cup second round.
