Ludlow teenager Lucy Sutton wins Refereeing section in FA National Football Futures Recognition Awards
LUDLOW teenager Lucy Sutton will be honoured at a national ceremony tomorrow.
Lucy has won the category for Refereeing in The FA National Football Futures Recognition Awards.
She has been invited to the ceremony at the FA’s national sports centre, St George’s Park.
She regularly officiates in the Shropshire, South Shropshire and Herefordshire junior leagues.
This will be Lucy’s second award this year.
In July, Lucy met England World Cup winner Geoff Hurst when she won a young volunteer honour in The McDonalds Community Awards.
Lucy’s dad, Mark, was a referee and is the chairman at Onny Juniors, while mum, Trudi, is club secretary.
