FORMER champion Scott Moran has strengthened his grip on this season’s MSA British Hill Climb Championship.
The championship leader, from Orleton, took first and third places in the two run-offs at Prescott.
Alex Summers, from Tenbury, had another superb showing, securing two second-place finishes in the run-of fs in his 1.3s DJSuzuki Firehawk.
Results, round 29: 1 Scott Moran 36.24, 2 Alex Summers 36.33, 6 Roger Moran 37.37.
Round 30: 2 Summers 36.49, 3 Scott Moran 36.52, 7 Roger Moran 37.66.
Previously, Scott won both rounds at Gurston Down.
Summers finished third and jointthird, with Scott’s dad, Roger, finishing sixth and seventh.
Results, round 27: 1 Scott Moran 26.06; 3 Alex Summers 26.73; 7 Roger Moran 27.26.
Round 28: 1 Scott Moran 26.02 BTD; =3 Trevor Willis and Summers 26.31.
