GOLDENBOY Mark Boucker rounded off the season in style for promoted Tenbury Town – his final day hat-trick lifting his side to a 5-0 win at Relentless, and scooping the club’s topscorer honours.

Boucker went into the game tied with the players’ player-ofthe- year Alex Bright at the top of the club’s scoring charts.

He then bagged his 22nd, 23rd and 24th goals of the season to claim the marksman trophy for the second year running.

Town – whose second-place finish sees them winning promotion for the first time - were 2-0 up after 30 minutes in their final Herefordshire League Division Three match.

Boucker hit a double on the stroke of half-time and, fittingly, had the final say, rounding off his hat-trick in the 90th minute.

Dead-ball specialist Ashley Botwood showed the Kingstone crowd why he scooped the manager’s player-of-the-year trophy at the post-match awards – on 24 minutes, smashing home a freekick low at the near post. He doubed his tally with a rocket.

Then Botwood, dominating the midfield, twice linked up with Chris Patton to unselfishly play in a waiting Boucker who finished both from close range.

In the second-half, Steve Sumner pushed a shot on to a post to secure his 11th clean sheet of the season.

Meanwhile, Carl Lambert was Town’s clubman of the year.
