Ludlow Rugby Club coach Dave Irish prepares his side for must-win Midlands One West relegation battle with Camp Hill

LUDLOW Rugby Club coach Dave Irish has warned his players to expect a battle in Saturday’s must-win home match against basement outfit Camp Hill.
The Linneymen are scrapping for their lives in Midlands One West and Irish says Camp Hill won’t just roll over for them.
Irish was relieved after a depleted Hereford thrashed Ludlow’s main relegation rivals, Barkers Butts, 34-17, last Saturday.
“We beat Camp Hill up there but it was close and they have not been hammered by many sides,” said the Irishman.
“This is a must-win game for us and it’s going to be a battle. “Camp Hill might be bottom but they won’t roll over and die.”
Fly-half Jack Lines has a long-standing commitment and will be missing the relegation clash, which kicks off at 3pm.
“We will probably put Joe Doyle at full-back and move Will Green from wing to full-back,” said Irish.
“For the last three weeks, we have been gearing up for this game after beating Barkers Butts and then taking a bonus point off Berkswell and Balsall.”
Bishops Castle couldn’t raise a team for their trip to Harborne last weekend - but welcome the Birmingham side this Saturday in Midlands Four West (North).
Castle skipper Pete Bevan said he only had 12 to pick from last Saturday because players were working or had tickets to watch the Six Nations rugby finale in Cardiff.
“I will probably have too many players from which to choose this weekend,” said Bevan.
Clee Hill, who play in the same division, have a big local derby at Bromyard this Saturday.
Struggling Cleobury Mortimer failed to raise a side for their Midlands Three West (North) match at Burntwood last weekend.
Bottom-of-the-table Cleobury have faced up to relegation for some time and are scheduled to host Willenhall in the league this Saturday.
