Clee Hill United face Brown Clee in Bishops Castle Cup first-round at AFC Ludlow

CLEE Hill United’s Liam Whitbread has a knee problem which could rule him out of Wednesday’s Bishops Castle Cup clash with rivals Brown Clee.

Whitbread hurt his knee in a match yesterday and he is struggling to be fit for the first-round cup match at Ludlow’s SBS Stadium.

The tie will be kicking off at 8.15pm and United manager Wayne Whitbread expects a tough test.

“There’s not much between the teams and it’s going to be a tight game,” said Whitbread. Whoever takes their chances will come out on top.”
