WOOFFERTON warmed up for Saturday’s Jock Handley Cup semi-final against Ledbury Town Reserves with a five-star display.

Dave Nash bagged a brace for Woofferton, who picked up three vital points in their bid to remain in Herefordshire League Division One.

“Dave Nash has been given a go up-front and he's been on fire,” said Woofferton secretary Dave ‘Magnum’ Thomas.

“The two goals he scored were well taken and he has the pace to scare any defence.”

Simon Bradley, Paul Nash and Dan Bradley also netted for the Blues.

It was Woofferton’s fourth win in a row and also lifts them into a mid-table position.

Woofferton Colts are also in action this Saturday, travelling to local rivals Orleton Colts in the FW Peterson Cup.
