Mid Wales League South champions Newcastle laid bare at Rhayader Town Reserves after leaving their kit at home

DEFENDING champions Newcastle were off colour in more ways than one - and lost 2-0 at third-placed Rhayader Town Reserves.
The day started badly for Newcastle, who forgot their playing kit and borrowed a strip from the home club.
Rhayader led 2-0 at the interval and John Goodridge’s half-time dressing down inspired his side to an improved display in the Mid Wales League (South).
Ben Malley and Craig Morris both had chances while John Reynolds made an encouraging debut.
Bucknell crashed to a 4-2 defeat at Penybont to end their 10-match unbeaten league run.
Ryan Bufton and Chris Yarwood were on target.
Jack Wilson scored from the penalty spot in Norbury's 2-1 home defeat against Charles Darwin in Division One of the Shrewsbury and District Sunday League.
