FORMER Clee Hill skipper Gary Edwards was relieved after his side finally picked up their first bonus point of the season.
The Hillmen powered to victory after a strong second-half display and Edwards says their try bonus-point was the icing on the cake.
“We haven’t scored enough tries this season - it was our first bonus point of the campaign - and that’s where our problem has been,” said Edwards.
Hill led just 7-3 at the interval but a man-of-the-match display from Richard Fletcher helped the hosts to their sixth Midlands Four West (North) win.
Hill are now fifth in the table - five points better off than second-from-bottom Bromyard.
“It was a bit scrappy at times but we got into our stride and we were worthy winners at the end,” said Edwards.
George Edwards notched Hill’s first try and Yan Richardson slotted the conversion before Barton replied with a penalty.
Craig Breakwell grabbed Hill’s second touchdown under the posts and Richardson added the extras.
Winger Adam Massey raced through to bag Hill’s third try to put the hosts 19-3 ahead.
And Robert Fletcher rounded off the scoring to secure Hill’s bonus point after Guy Hampton’s quick break.
