Suspended fines for AFC Ludlow and Dale Hodge over breach of international clearance regulations

THE Mercian League can now deal with AFC Ludlow over Dale Hodge’s ‘international clearance’ issue, says spokesman Phil Davies.

The English FA have handed AFC Ludlow and Hodge suspended fines over the player’s involvement at Welsh club Newbridge-on-Wye.

Morda claimed Hodge played without international clearance in their 3-1 defeat to Ludlow earlier in the season.

“Dale Hodge needed international clearance to play for Ludlow and it didn’t happen - and the case was proven,” said Mercian League spokesman Davies.

AFC Ludlow boss Dave Cooper confirmed his club and Hodge had each been handed £50 fines, suspended for two years.
