STALWART Dave ‘Magnum’ Thomas admits Woofferton are struggling with their league form after losing a nine-goal thriller at Haynall Lane.

Josh Partridge and Simon Bradley bagged braces for the Blues but a young Wellington side edged the points in this Herefordshire League Division One goal-feast.

Partridge put Woofferton ahead but Wellington equalised and then took a 2-1 lead before the halftime break.

Woofferton drew level through Partridge but Wellington seized control with a three-goal burst in a 20-minute spell to roar into a 5-2 lead.

Simon Bradley netted a late brace for Woofferton but it wasn’t enough to salvage a point for Steve Chadd’s men, who host Holme Lacy this Saturday.
