Aaron Wilcox scores stunner at Ludlow Hockey Club's 4-1 win over Kidderminster in Ener-G West Midlands League 2nd XI Division Two

AARON Wilcox’s stunning goal helped Ludlow’s 2nd to a 4-1 home win over Kidderminster in the Ener-G West Midlands League 2nd XI Division Two.
Jake Watts, Kevin Williams and Josh Rowson also scored for title-chasing Ludlow, who led 2-1 at the interval and piled on the pressure as the match wore on.
Left-half Matt Brundrett and young Lyam Hutchinson also shone for the hosts.
Ludlow’s women put up a brave fight before conceding three late goals in a 3-0 defeat at Badsey in Division One of the Worcestershire Women’s League.
Zoe Morgan was voted Ludlow’s best player of the match by the opposition, for her outstanding performance.
Annette Burgoyne, Naomi Burgoyne, Julie Chamberlain, Davina Featherstone, Rowan Jackson, Alice Oatham, Rosie Oatham and Emma Pollock also worked hard.
Ludlow travelled with 10 players and were reduced to nine within 10 minutes of the match when one of their players felt ill and had to return home.
Ludlow’s women suffered a 3-0 home defeat, the following day, against Bishop’s Castle in the KBS Marches League.
