TENBURY wrestler Jake Gittens will be unveiling his new ring persona in an all-action show in Hereford later this month.
Jake had been known as ‘The Rockstar’ Cupid Valentino, whom he described as a ‘play-boy character’ with a 450-splash finishing move.
But the wrestler will now become his new alterego, Jakob Castle, and be involved in tag-team action with Chris Brookes.
Jake will be running a masterclass for would-be wrestlers on the afternoon of an all-Americanstyle show at Hereford’s Richmond Club on Saturday, February 23.
“I will be teaching the basics of professional wrestling and spaces for the workshop are filling up quickly,” said Jake.
The highlight of the evening’s show promises to be a ladder match, added Jake, who learnt his moves at a school in Perry Barr, Birmingham.
‘East London Mean Machine’ Terry Frazier, Rigour Mortis, Jim E Villain, Loco Mike and the British champion ‘The Superstar’ Carlos are all on the card.
Doors for the Ironfist Wrestling show will open at 7pm, with the first bell sounding at 7.30pm.
People must be 16 years and above to take part in the wrestling workshop.
