AN evening of live music will be raising money for AFC Ludlow’s injured players Ryan Lockley and John Haycox.
A local band, The Cellar Boys, will be playing at the SBS Stadium on Saturday, February 9.
The AFC Ludlow pair suffered nasty leg injuries on the football pitch within a matter of weeks earlier in the season.
“They are great lads – and are watching every game we play,” said Ludlow manager Dave Cooper.
“John is hoping to get back before the end of the season.
“John is determined – he’s keen to get involved again and the injury hasn’t put him off one bit. Ryan will be trying to get back into cricket in March.”
All proceeds from the evening will go towards the injured players.
The doors will be opening at 7.30pm and, for tickets, priced £5 each, call Dave Cooper on 07875 560398.
