RUGBY star Lark Davies said she had a ‘great experience’ at the Youth Sport Trust’s National Talent Camp.
The Ludlow College student was put through her paces in the four-day event at Loughborough University.
“I met professional athletes, such as former England Women’s Rugby captain Catherine Spencer, who have been through what we will go through,” said Lark, aged 17.
She added: “Their knowledge and experience has inspired us and will help in preparing us for the future.
“The National Talent Camp was a great experience.”
The event offered talented 13 to 18- year-olds an insight into the world of performance sport and the demands needed to be the best in their chosen sport.
The young athletes at the camp were supported by Hannah Cockcroft, London 2012 double Paralympic gold medallist.
Cockcroft said: “It was fantastic to see everyone learning from each other and trying different sports.”
