Ludlow beaten but Tenbury enjoy derby success against Bromyard

LUDLOW are still clear of the danger zone in Midlands One West despite a 31-20 reverse at Shropshire rivals Whitchurch.

But Cleobury Mortimer are still only one place off the foot of Midlands Three West North after losing 31-15 at high-fliers Bloxwich.

It was a good day, however, for Tenbury who have climbed back to third place in the Midlands Four West North table with a 12-10 local derby win over Bromyard.

Clee Hill also had an enjoyable afternoon, winning their mid-table battle with Harborne 19-9 while Bishop’s Castle’s home match with Barton-under-Needwood was called off.

Tenbury United have slipped to 13th in Division Two of the West Midlands League after losing 3-2 at home to Hereford Lads Club.
