ALEX Bright grabbed a brace to maintain Tenbury Town’s impressive league run against a Sinkums’ side reduced to nine men in the opening 45 minutes.
Town won 3-1.
The visitors gave away a host of free-kicks and were rocked by a double sending off - one player was given a straight red card for arguing with the referee.
Third-placed Town deserved their victory in Herefordshire League Division Three and it will give them confidence ahead of Saturday’s derby at Leintwardine Colts.
Bright and Ashley Botwood tested Sinkums’ goalkeeper in the first- half but the scoreline was blank at the interval.
Town made their two-man advantage count in the second period, Bright picking up ball up inside his own half before scoring with a low drive. Sinkums hit back to draw level from the penalty spot after Gaz Edwards bundled over a Sinkums player in the box.
But Boucker restored Town’s advantage, turning sharply on the edge of the box and hitting a low drive which squirmed underneath the keeper.
Bright snapped up his second goal to seal their third league win of the campaign.
