VACANCY FOR PARISH WEBSITE WEBMASTER – We are looking for someone to re-invigorate the website of Temespan, the parish magazine of Teme Valley North, and persuade more people to use it. STILL WATERS QUIET GARDEN – Still Waters Quiet Garden at St Mary’s Church, Kyre, half-way between Tenbury Wells and Bromyard off the B4214, follow signs to Kyre Park and Epic, park in car park next to Tithe Barn and Epic Cycles. We look forward to greeting you and sharing a quiet time. We invite you to join us at St Mary’s Church, Kyre on April 22, 3pm- 4.30pm (welcome from 2.30pm); May 9, 7pm-8pm (welcome from 6.30pm); June 3, 3pm-4.30pm (welcome from 2.30pm); July 7, 7pm-8pm (welcome from 6.30pm); Sept 2, 3pm-4.30pm (welcome from 2.30pm). Knighton Friends meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the parish room.

EARDISTON’S OWN TEME VALLEY WILDLIFE GROUP TALK – Danny Arnold at Lindridge Parish Hall on Friday, April 20, at 7.15pm, will give one of his excellent and informative talks.Tickets are £15 per head and will include a hot meal, though drinks are not included and it is therefore recommended you bring your own alcohol. TEME VALLEY GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY – The society will be running a number of varied field trips over the spring and summer months. GROWING AND SHOWING – Do you want to grow prize-winning flowers and vegetables? If so, come along to Eastham Garden Club and hear just how to do it. A talk “Growing and Showing” by the expert Barry Simons is on Tuesday, April 17, at Eastham Village Hall. The talk starts at 7.30pm, but come along early if you want a plant bargain. MUCH ADO ABOUT WENLOCK – A theatrical tale of Olympian feats, it’s a winner! Vamos Theatre, in association with the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham, presents its new production Much Ado About Wenlock at St Michael’s Village Hall on Friday, April 27, at 7.30pm.
