Tenbury man to undertake 220 mile cycle ride for Adam Millichip Foundation

A TENBURY man is making final preparations to ride from one end of Wales to another in just two days.

Mark Benbow will set off from Holyhead, in the Isle of Anglesey, on Saturday morning (June 11) and arrive at Barry Island on Sunday evening.

The 220 mile cycle ride in conjunction with Chris Aspey from Hereford will take in the Snowdonia Mountains and the hills and mountains of mid Wales.

Mark, aged 33, and Chris, 34, are making the ride in aid of the Adam Millichip Foundation.

“We are not experienced cyclists and I have borrowed a road racing bike from my boss so it will not be easy but should be fun,” said Mark.
