A CHURCH near Tenbury Wells has been added to English Heritage's “at risk”
list.
The 12th century Church of St Andrew at Wolferlow, near Upper Sapey, is a vacant Grade II listed site and said to be in poor condition.
In more positive news two sites have been saluted as making strong progress.
They are the once vulnerable Grade II listed St Leonard’s church at Yarpole – where the congregation worked with English Heritage and the Diocese of Hereford to provide a community post office and shop - and the 17th century Grade II listed Bleathwood Manor, near Little Hereford, which is getting back to its best having been badly damaged by fire in 2008.
