Tenbury firemen raise cash for Fire Fighters' Charity

FIREFIGHTERS from Tenbury were sloshing plenty of water about in the town centre at the weekend. But this time they were not dealing with flames and smoke or cleaning up after a flood. They were cleaning cars and all in a good cause to help firefighters who have fallen upon difficult times.

Tenbury has 15 part-time firefighters who all do full time jobs but are on hand to drop everything when an emergency call comes. On Saturday they were not answering an emergency but a call to raise money for the Firefighters’ Charity.
