CHARITY SHOP - Tenbury & District Hospital League of Friends has a shop at the old greengrocery shop opposite the Post Office, from March 13-27, 9.30am to 4pm. The league welcomes good quality clothes, books and bric-a-brac for sale. No furniture please. Deliver to the shop tomorrow (Friday), 10am to 1pm. Members regret they are unable to collect.

SUB 16 - The under-16s’ club night is at the Therapy Lounge, Bridge Hotel, on March 19, 7.30pm to 10.30pm. £6 admission includes entertainment, cloakroom and soft drinks. SIA supervised, strictly no alcohol and strictly under-16s.

MUSIC - Hear City & Gold and Impressions of Heaven at St Mary’s Church, featuring lyrics by John Bunyan, C S Lewis, Adrian Plass and others. Music with a choir, small band, visual impressions and narration by Ian Barge on March 27, 7.30pm, and March 28, 7pm.

BIG SCREEN HORSE RACING - A charity fund-raising event in aid of Orleton Village Hall takes place there on March 27, at 7pm. The first race starts 7.30pm. Race night programmes and cards will be available at the door. Bring your own drinks and glasses.
