The Nags Head, Lindridge not part of a police investigation

POLICE have confirmed that a pub near Tenbury was not being investigated.

A number of police cars and officers were seen in the car park of the Nags Head in Lindridge on Wednesday December 2.

Richard Bull, south Worcestershire police press officer, said that their presence was part of an unrelated operation to find a man in relation to alleged drugs offences, who was thought to be at a nearby address.

The car park was therefore used as a rendezvous point.

The man was arrested the following day in Worcester and is currently on police bail pending further enquries.
