FIREFIGHTERS spent last night battling a barn fire near Tenbury Wells.

Crews from Tenbury, Leominster, Bromyard, Worcester, Bewdley, Leintwardine and Hereford were all called the fire, two miles from Kyre, shortly before 8.20pm.

Straw, two tractors, a trailer and a LPG bullet were all in the building.

Another barn containing grain was also on fire.

A water carrier from Ross-on-Wye and firefighters from Kingsland are currently at the site dampening down There were no reports of any rescues taking place and it is not known what caused the fire.
