Five youths have been arrested following a number of fires in Tenbury.
The incidents took place between 11.20am and 12.50pm yesterday (May 13).
The first took place at Tenbury High School, Old Wood Road, when an outdoor bin was set alight between 11.20pm and 11.40pm. The fire was extinguished by those at the school.
The second fire occurred between 12.30pm and 12.50pm when it was discovered by a garage door on Redgate Avenue.
Material in a storeroom at the Co-Op, Bromyard Road, was found alight between 12.40pm and 12.50pm. Damage was caused to the room and some stock, the value of this is unknown at this time.
DC Phil Colley of South Worcestershire Police, who is investigating, said: “We are now appealing for witnesses to any of these incidents and would like anyone with information to get in touch.”

One of the youths has been released on police bail and the other four remain in custody at Castle Street Police Station in Worcester while enquiries continue.
