Three people injured following accident near Tenbury Wells

THREE people were injured following a two car collision near Tenbury Wells yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the A456 at Mamble, on the Tenbury to Bewdley road, shortly before 2.30pm.

Ambulance spokesman Chris Kowlalik said an a woman, believed to be in her 60’s, had head, chest, leg and pelvic injuries and was airlifted to Worcester Royal Hospital.

An elderly man in the other car was in shock and had whiplash and his wife, also elderly, had a hand injury.

They were both taken to Hereford County Hospital.
